Krishna Janmashtami

Lord Krishna was born at midnight on the eighth day of Hindu lunar month, Shravana.
Janmashtami, is the birthday of lord Krishna was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Aditya National Public School, Yelahanka. It is believed that lord Vishnu reincarnated in the form of lord Krishna on the auspicious day of Janmashtami. Raslila (an act) is performed to recreate incidents from the life of Krishna and to commemorate his love for Radha. Lord Vishnu is invoked in his human manifestation as Krishna on his birth anniversary in the festival of Janmashtmi.
