International Yoga Day Celebration
Aditya National Public School started Yoga Practices in the morning assembly in the light of the international Yoga day. Mr.Maruthi Yoga Guru reckoned many benefits of early raising and practicing Yoga. Speaking in the assembly he also pointed out the contribution of Yoga in maintaining physically fit, mentally healthy and spiritually awakened to say no to ailments. Also how it helps students to memorize something and understand a concept and its context. We are happy that Yoga is part of the extra-curricular activities in our schools.
Yoga Guru Mr.Maruthi gave a brief introduction about Yoga as follows:

- Introduction of Yoga:
Yoga is originated in India 5000 years ago, it’saroyal path of self-uplifting, Yoga is a spiritual science of holistic well-being; it is a practical system of self-culture. It is an exact science and aims at the harmonious development of body, mind, breath, Intellect and soul.
Yoga is a methodical way of attaining perfection, through control of the different elements of human nature. Through yoga one can have increased energy, vigor, vitality, longevity, and high standard of health. Its practices will help control emotions and passions and bring about serenity, calmness and wonderful concentration.
The dedicated practice of yoga frees one from all kinds of sufferings and helps in attaining the state in which there is union with the absolute.
- Meaning of Yoga:
Yoga originated for Sanskritroot word ‘Yuj’ means Unification or Joiningor Harmony or Oneness,
The June 21st– 2016, is the day for “WORLD YOGA DAY CELEBRATION” become witness for the whole world peoplebehind religion, cast and creed and country, language, culture. Allover the world people tookpart andinitiation in the International Yoga event, and merging each other in one form and discipline of yoga for the peace and harmony for the World.
- Patanjali Maharshi; The father of Yoga, designed into 8 fold path, which is Asthanga Yoga or RajaYoga as well as known as Patanjali Yoga. There are 8 limbs in Yoga.
1.Yama=5Social code of conduct,
2. Niyam=5Individual code of conduct,
3.Asana=physical fitness,
4.Pranayama=Yogic respiration, conscious breathing,
5.Prathyahara=Self-control,
6.Dharana=Practice of Concentration and focus,
7.Dhyana=Meditation.
8. Samadhi= Self-realization of one’s true form & nature.
IV. Conclusion: Let all us take an initiation to practice yoga every day as part of life and make self-discipline to practice throughout life to be fit, flexible, healthy and happy life, which leads the spiritual journey towards right destiny.
